Togo and SuperSport United midfielder Dove Wome says he is happy at the Tshwane giants now that his blood is blue.
The former Mamelodi Sundowns attacker was speaking to local South African website during their pre-season preparations saying he has accepted what he experienced at the Brazilians.
The 24-year-old switched to the cross-town rivals on a three-year deal at the end of the season after spending a loan with Gordon Igesund’s side.
"I'm not under pressure because the season I spent at Sundowns, I was the best goalscorer for the club in all competitions so I don't have anything to prove to them. I will relax and play my normal game," Wome said.
"My heart is blue now. I'm playing for the blue nation. I'm happy at SuperSport and I have to forget about Sundowns, they are in the past just like Free State Stars."
The former Free State Stars man was a joint-top scorer with 10 goals last season along with Jeremy Brockie, however, he feels there isn't much separating the Tshwane rivals.
"I can't say there's a big difference between the clubs because both are challenging for the League," Wome added.
"SuperSport have proven themselves by winning three League titles so they are also a big club.
"Maybe Sundowns have more fans than SuperSport but I think if we do well then more fans will come watch us. I think we have to bring them [fans] back to the stadium."
