What has become a norm for many Ajax Cape Town players might be slowly coming to an end as they have put a high price tag on their players.
This comes after Rivaldo Coetzee’s chances of making a move overseas have become slim because of a clause that the club has with him.
His manager, Tim Sukazi told independent newspapers that Coetzee could have signed with some major clubs overseas but couldn’t due to contractual disputes.
“There are many clubs that are after Coetzee, but things are difficult as his contract is also linked with the Ajax Amsterdam. So this means if a club wants him they must pay a huge amount of fees to Ajax Amsterdam,” said Sukazi.
The Bafana Bafana defender has been in excellent form for both his club and the national team after having been the youngest player to ever represent Bafana Bafana at 17-years-old.
Not only has he attracted interest from clubs in Belgium and other countries, but clubs from South Africa have also suggested interest in him.
“His talent is amazing, but again his contract does not allow him to play for any PSL teams either than Ajax Cape Town. There are Johannesburg clubs that wanted him to join them but he couldn’t,” said Sukazi.
