Cape Town Cup participants Crystal Palace are reportedly keen on signing defender Ashley Williams from fellow Premier League side Swansea City.
The defender will cost the Eagles £10million, according to the British media, which would be another massive outlay from the London club.
Palace earlier this month secured the services of French midfielder Yohan Cabaye, who cost a club-record fee of £12.8million.
Manager Alan Pardew has club co-owner Steve Parish’s backing to make another big-name signing ahead of the 2015/16 season.
Pardew will face a battle in trying to prise Williams away from Swansea, with coach Garry Monk determined to keep a hold of the 30-year-old centre-back.
