Ajax Cape Town captain Travis Graham looks set to miss the club's MTN8 and Absa Premiership opening matches.
Roger de Sa revealed that the 22-year-old tore his hamstring and will only return to training with the Urban Warriors first team in two weeks' time.
The Cape side face Orlando Pirates in the MTN8 before kicking-off their league campaign against Bidvest Wits in Johannesburg on 8 August.
"He tore his hamstring, he has a complete tear. He has started to train now, but it's probably another two weeks before he joins the team in proper training, so still a long way," De Sa said.
"He will probably miss the Top Eight and the first league game as well."
