Crystal Palace manager Alan Pardew has not named DRC winger Yannick Bolasie in his starting team or substitutes bench for their Cape Town Cup opener against SuperSport United at 17h45.

Bolasie has been the subject of transfer speculation with the likes of Tottenham, West Ham and Aston Villa all being linked with him.

Club officials confirm that Bolasie picked up a slight knock in training on Thursday, which is why he is not part of the matchday squad.

Meanwhile Palace new man Yohan Cabaye is on the bench for the opening game along with Patrick Bamford.

SuperSport have given a starting position to ex-skipper Bongani Khumalo who has been back in South Africa during this pre-season following a difficult time in the United Kingdom.
